Question: are u gay

Keywords: ,

  1. No, I’m not gay, but I have friends who are. I also have worked with many homosexual men and women, and as far as I’m aware they have encountered no (or very very little) discrimination due to their sexuality in their work environment. I know it can be a big issue in high school, but, really, once you get a little older, sexuality is just another aspect of everyone’s personality. This is probably especially true in science, which might be because everyone in the workplace has been to university, where there is generally a high level of exposure to people with a range of sexualities, and this exposure helps make it an insignificant factor. Also, scientists are really smart, and know that who people fall in love with has no bearing on their quality as a person. 🙂

  1. I’m not gay but like Chris have many friends and students who are. Sexuality isn’t really a big deal at work. We are interested in the science and what your sexuality is doesn’t have any impact on how you perform at work. A great person, friend and workmate is just that, whether they be homosexual or heterosexual.
