Football as in Rugby league/union or as in soccer? I played indoor soccer while at university (regular soccer at high school) and I have been considering joining the St Paul Pigs Rugby Football club here in Minnesota but I have to look at the time commitment (because my two children are still young).
I grew up playing soccer and American football. My dad was a professional soccer player and I continued in his footsteps, but decided to pursue science instead of soccer. I still play soccer 3 times a week. I played American football too growing up.
I played soccer a lot as a kid, and started up again as an adult while living in the USA. When my team broke up I turned to long distance running for sport instead, and in a couple of months I am going to (attempt to) run my first marathon, which is exciting but terrifying. I still love watching soccer (go Melbourne Heart!) and AFL (go Port Power!), but I think my playing days are over.
I don’t play football. We had a team for 1 day at school which I joined but it was considered unladylike and the headmistress didn’t allow us to continue. I play tennis
