Question: Why do you work in France, is it for the synchrotron or because France offers different things to aid your research to different countries

  1. The main reason is for the synchrotron. There is a beamline there dedicated to the study of fossils and the staff are all palaeontologists with physics training to work the beamline. Another reason is because I belong to a multinational team. Some members are in England, France, Sweden, and the USA. France is easy for everyone to get to. The synchrotron is fantastic as so many nationalities and sciences are all meeting in the one place. I always have a great time. The food is good also
