Absolutely! I loved transformers growing up and would love to build a real one, although like Brad I lack any of the skills to do so. My favourite was always Optimus Prime, but I think if I was building one it would be a train.
I assume you are talking about the transformer that changes from a vehicle to a robot rather than the device that can change your voltage (you can learn how to make that in physics class with wires and an insulator).
I think it would be cool to create one of the Transformers and I am sure we probably have the technology available to do some of the mechanics (think of the retractable hard-top roofs of some cars). It probably wouldn’t be as quick as we would like and think about how much energy is required to do each transformation.
Definitely. That’d be the most awesome job. I’d like to ride in one too. However it is a little outside of my skill set.
