I was born in Sydney and now live in Perth. My husband’s family has Croatian ancestry but my family has been in Australia since the convict days
Yes, I come from another country. I was born in the United States (California), but I lived in Taiwan for about 6 years before my family immigrated to Australia where I spent ~71 % of my life so far (split between Brisbane [48%] and Sydney [52 %]). Now I have been in America for about 4 years now. Who knows where I will go next or if I stay here. People here often ask me if my accent is British and I have to tell them it is Australian.
I was born in California in the US, then moved to Indiana in the US. I then moved to Uganda. After that I lived in Chile followed by Germany. I moved to Australia in 2007 and have also been splitting my time with Boston in the US, so have been living there too.
I’m originally from the US–raised in California and lived in Los Angeles for uni and San Diego for graduate school. I then lived in Washington DC for my post-doctoral fellowship before moving to Sydney for my position at the Garvan.
I was born and raised in Adelaide, then moved to Washington DC for work for 5 years, and then moved to Melbourne to start my current job.
